Mauritius - Mark Twain was once moved to exclaim that God must have modelled heaven on Mauritius. Uninhabited until the 17th century, the island's ever changing scenery belies its small area. Lofty forested mountain peaks overlook undulating fields of sugar cane, all encompassed by fantastic coastal scenery of powdery white sand beaches and spectacular blue lagoons, rich in marine life.
Rodrigues Island – Lying a full days steaming east of Mauritius is the island of Rodrigues, The white sand beaches, the little turquoise blue creeks and the small islands all around seem to spring from the "Robinson Crusoe" story. With over 100 square miles of lagoon littered with small islets and a rich Creole culture Rodrigues remains curiously unknown.
Reunion – The larges of the island group, Reunion is rich in French Creole culture, although there are relatively few beaches & no Fringe reef or lagoon, Reunion offers spectacular sights for the more adventurous, Breathtaking scenery, sometimes likened to the Himalayas in the tropics harboring the most active volcano in the Indian Ocean.
